Installation typically takes around 5 hours, but it does depend on the type of water system you have (direct or indirect), the plumbing set up in your property and ease of access to the installation.

Outside Cabinets

In some situations it makes more sense to site a softener outside against a flat wall than to take up space inside the kitchen. Sterling softeners can supply specially designed weather protection cabinets to protect your softener from frost if you decide to site it outside.

They are constructed of GRP and insulated with 50mm of polystyrene. They have moulded lifting handles each side. They are supplied in a variety of colours and a top drip strip is also supplied to prevent water running between the wall and cabinet. Alternatively if you would prefer a wooden cabinet we know an excellent carpenter who will build a cabinet for you.
